Maxima = bright/loud spot,
For first order maxima path difference = 1 x wavelength
For second order maxima path difference = 2 x wavelength
For third order maxima path difference = 3 x wavelength and so on.
Minima = dark/quiet spot
For first order minima path difference = 1/2 x wavelength
For second order minima path difference = 1 + 1/2 x wavelength
For third order minima path difference = 2 + 1/2 x wavelength and so on.

The past paper questions are all about refraction. So n = sin o air / sin oglass
and sin ocritical = 1 / n. Remember all your maths rules for triangles will apply.
